Chemistry Consultant for Journalists and Authors

I can provide chemical expertise to journalists and authors for use in use in news, feature articles, books, TV, documentaries and websites. Press inquiries regarding the scientific merit or technical accuracy of stories, positions, topics or documents are welcome in chemistry, physics and life sciences from authors, editors, fact-checkers and researchers. If you need context and background for a particular topic or if you want to zero in on the details of specific facts, proposals and theories, contact me. Consultations can be completed by phone, email, by reports or in person. I am also available for live and recorded interviews for radio, television and other media.

Scientific and Chemistry Consultant to Television, Film and Theater

I also serve as a chemical consultant to artistic and entertainment efforts in theater, film and television. Allow me to review drafts, scripts, screenplays, artwork and set design elements for appropriate technical content. I can examine technical language, scientific terms, pronunciation and jargon to make sure they are both accurate and authentic-sounding. Any chemical names, molecular formulas, molecular structures, instrumentation, scientific techniques, reactions, samples, chemical behavior and appearance can all be analyzed for accuracy or appropriateness for any academic or industrial setting. I can suggest chemical names, molecular formulas, molecular structures, graphs, pictures, laboratory equipment, scientific procedures, analyses and props consistent with the script. I can design and construct chemical models, instrumentation, scientific techniques and samples with specific appearance and or behavior. Because I work in Louisiana, you might also benefit from the Louisiana's Film and TV Tax Credit Program by using my services.
